The Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA) certification from CWNA Certification was established in 2001 and is aimed at students who are currently employed in the Administrations, or those who want to find employment in those environments, and want to obtain the Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA) certification.

The Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA) certification certifies that a successful Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA) has learnt the knowledge need to planning, designing, implementing, and operating the Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA). The successful Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA) certified student will have knowledge of getting started in your wireless career by ensuring you have the skills to successfully administer enterprise-class wireless LANs.

CWNA Prerequisites:

The Certified Wireless Network Administrator certification is only available to students who have success fully acquired the CWNA certification.

CWNA Required Exams:

To be awarded the Certified Wireless Network Administrator certification, the Certified Wireless Network Administrator student must successfully pass one exam namely; the PW0-100 (Wireless LAN Administration) exam has a difficulty rating of about 3 out of 5 and is thus only a moderately difficult exam. This exam is available in English only.

A successful Certified Wireless Network Administrator student will hold the Certified Wireless Network Administrator certification for two years only, after which the Certified Wireless Network Administrator student must re-validate their Certified Wireless Network Administrator certification by retaking and passing the PW0-100 (Wireless LAN Administration) exam.
